How to Install Gutter Trim Internal Corners

An internal gutter-trim corner joins two Integra Gutter Trim lengths where they meet at an inside right angle. Leaving movement room is as important as the adhesive bond.

Quick answer

Butt the two trim lengths at the inside corner with a 4mm expansion gap. Apply superglue to one inside edge of the matching corner, use uPVC activator on the corresponding trim face and hold until bonded.

What you need

  • Matching Integra Trim Gutter Trim Internal Corner
  • Suitable superglue
  • uPVC superglue activator
  • Clean, dry and contamination-free trim surfaces

Four installation steps

  1. Set the corner. Bring the two gutter-trim lengths together at the internal right angle with a 4mm gap.
  2. Glue one inside edge. Do not glue both sides; the joint needs to accommodate expansion.
  3. Activate the trim. Apply uPVC activator where the glued edge will land.
  4. Press and hold. Seat the corner component firmly and hold it until adhesion is solid.
