Integra Trim Cellular: EPDM Roof Edge System Guide

Integra Trim Cellular is the cost-effective FlexiProof roof-edge system for One-Piece EPDM. It uses cellular uPVC-ASA profiles with matching corners, joiners and fixings to form raised kerb and gutter-drip edges.

Quick answer

Use raised kerb trim where water must be checked at an edge and gutter trim where water should discharge into the gutter. Do not mix cellular and solid corners or joiners: match every component to the exact trim family.

Cellular system facts

  • Cellular uPVC-ASA co-extrusion with a tough ASA outer skin
  • UV and weather-resistant outer finish
  • Pre-drilled trim lengths for consistent PolyTop fixing
  • CAD-designed internal corners, external corners and joiners
  • Fully recyclable according to the manufacturer guide
  • Jet Black, RAL 9005
  • Designed around FlexiProof One-Piece EPDM

Raised kerb trim

The 2.5m × 100mm profile provides a 20mm water-check upstand. A 10mm × 15mm foam compression strip seals against the membrane. It is used where runoff must be directed away from that perimeter and toward the gutter edge.

Gutter drip trim

The 2.5m × 100mm profile uses a back plate fixed to a timber fascia batten and a front plate with foam compression seal. Its sloping detail directs water off the membrane and into the gutter.

Plan the whole perimeter

  1. Mark each edge. Identify raised kerb, gutter drip, walls and transitions.
  2. Count 2.5m lengths. Include the manufacturer’s required expansion gaps.
  3. Count components. Add the correct cellular internal corners, external corners and joiners.
  4. Confirm fixings. Use the stated PolyTop and ringshank/countersunk fixing route.
  5. Match the membrane. Follow the current installation guide for One-Piece EPDM and each detail.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between raised kerb and gutter trim?

Raised kerb creates a water check. Gutter trim creates the drip edge that directs water into the gutter.

How long is each Integra Trim Cellular length?

The manufacturer guide states 2.5m.

Can I use a Solid corner on Cellular trim?

No. Use matching components from the same Integra Trim family and profile.

Why are expansion gaps required?

uPVC profiles move with temperature. The specified gaps and one-sided gluing method allow that movement without forcing the joint.
