Does the roof need to be dry?
Yes. Adhesives, primers, cleaners and sealants must be used on suitable clean, dry surfaces within the stated weather and temperature limits.
Can I use the same adhesive everywhere?
No. Main decks, perimeters, upstands, seams and non-porous substrates can require different products.
How should the surface be prepared?
Make it sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oils, frost and loose material. Follow any product-specific cleaning or priming step.
How much product do I need?
Calculate from the measured application area and the current coverage figure. Substrate porosity and application method can affect consumption.
Can I mix products from different EPDM systems?
Do not assume cross-brand compatibility. Use the products approved for the selected membrane and detail.
