What is 6-inch Cured Cover Tape used for?
Use 6-inch Cured Cover Tape for compatible flat or straight details, seams and repairs where a cured tape can lie without complex stretching. Use uncured flashing for corners and penetrations.

What is the difference between cured and uncured tape?
Cured cover tape stays dimensionally stable on flatter details; uncured flashing tape moulds around complex shapes.
Does cover tape need primer?
Use the compatible cleaner and primer stated for the product. The membrane must be clean and dry.
Can it be used around a pipe?
Not normally for a three-dimensional pipe detail. Use the approved pipe boot or uncured flashing system.
How wide should the tape be?
It must extend beyond the joint or damage by the overlap required in the system detail.
How should it be rolled?
Apply without wrinkles or trapped air, then consolidate the complete surface and every edge.
Can it cover an old failed repair?
Only after the old detail is assessed and all loose, contaminated or incompatible material is made suitable.
